MANE centralizes user and authorization management for all its SAP solutions, using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) as the master system. User information is then redirected to SAP target systems (BW, S/4HANA, ECC, SCM, Solman, SAP Analytics Cloud) using Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).
In parallel, Identity Authentication Service (IAS) is deployed to manage the Single Sign-On (SSO) part with users’ Microsoft accounts.
This approach enables MANE to efficiently administer the creation, management of user exits, and modification of roles, thus ensuring rigorous governance of access and authorizations while simplifying administrative processes within its SAP landscape.
